It consisted of both general and technical aptitude. There was no negative marking. General aptitude mostly focused on data interpretation and analogy. Technical aptitude was more of output finding questions from C++, Java, SQL, DBMS.
It was an easy round where questions were fully based on resume. Few of the
questions I remember are:
1) Can a foreign key be duplicated?
2) OOPs concepts - with real time examples.
3) Reverse a string
4) Why do we need normalization?
5) What did you learn in Data warehousing and mining?
Some general questions were also asked like:
1) What do you know about AstraZeneca?
2) Are you ok with night shifts? (You can be honest with your answer. Don't
hesitate to say no.)
1) Self introduction
2) Projects
3) Situational questions
4) Strengths and Weaknesses
5) Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
6) What is digital marketing?
1) Family background
2) Since it is a pharmaceutical company, what do you think your role would be
in AstraZeneca? (Know more about the company you are attending.)
3) What would you do if you are put in a role which is not your area of
interest?
4) Why do you want to join AstraZeneca?
