It consisted of both technical and general aptitude. For each wrong answer, there is 0.25 negative marking. Technical aptitude was full of Java, RDBMS, OOPs, Linux commands and general aptitude contained arithmetic aptitude. Don’t answer questions which you are not sure of and don’t spend too much time in one question as 60 questions need to be completed in 1 hr.
There were 3 questions to be solved in 60 mins. 2 were easy (related to string
and simple logic) and 1 was medium.
There were 2 panel members. Questions were asked based on resume. Some
of the questions I remember are:
1) Highest precedence in CSS? – Inline/Internal/External stylesheet
2) Difference between block and inline elements
3) Role in project
4) Abstract class in Java with real time example. Why do we need it?
5) SQL query
6) Normal forms in RDBMS
7) Live coding in online compiler – Remove all occurrences of a substring
There were 5 panel members. It was a five to one round. Some of the
questions I remember are:
1) Extempore speech about myself. Asked about me personally rather than
technically.
2) One puzzle was asked and they gave me a game in laptop to play.
3) Deep questions on one of my projects.
4) Few questions on RDBMS and SQL.
Many situational questions were asked like:
1) Which company do you choose between Sirius and other company? Why
Sirius?
2) How do you handle arguments?
3) Where do you see yourself in 3 years and 10 years?
4) How do you manage time when there is work load?
5) Most difficult situation you have come across? How did you overcome?
